Feel Your Freedom

Forced to flee his drought-stricken village in rural northern Nigeria, a quiet but determined young man named Aliyu arrives in the bustling metropolis of Lagos with only his late father’s traditional korhogo harp and a dream of becoming a musician. He finds work as a dispatch rider, navigating the city’s relentless energy while secretly composing music that blends ancient Sahelian melodies with the raw pulse of the urban landscape. His unique sound catches the ear of Sade, a fiercely independent music blogger who sees his potential. As their collaboration gains viral attention, Aliyu is pulled between the promise of fame and the fear of losing the very cultural identity that makes his music authentic, forcing him to define freedom on his own terms.
